This photography project is perfect for a digital class - students can even use their phones to shoot this project since it focuses more on camera angles and storytelling.
It asks students to create 9 photos of the day in the life of a student - you could always tweak it so it's the day in the life of ANYONE as well.
They then take their photos and create a photo collage to submit (either submit online, through Google Classroom, or you could have them print it out if you have access to a printer)
This introduces them to really helpful app's - I especially love "Photoshopexpress" which will make collages for them.
Gets them working with a subject matter they know very well, and playing with composition and angles. It also has a planning sheet so they can go through the creative process - of visualizing the shots before taking them.
Also included is a mini rubric to make marking easy.
Really approachable! Enjoy.
