This power point can be a great introduction into an art/photo lesson plan is a valuable resource for any visual arts teacher. This 50-slide PowerPoint attends to the student need for using composition guidelines in art, photography or graphic works (either for the serious artist or the hobbyist.) It is a constructive resource meant to serve as a life-long tool and help students produce stronger and more developed pieces through the arrangement of their composition. Photos and art from my personal collection provide examples of these guidelines and how to incorporate them into visual pieces. There are also 9 slides illustrating famous artists'/photographers' work and how they used composition rules within their pieces; with some questions supporting the overall rationale. This could also be used as a classroom activity.
