These cards were so popular in my classroom, and helped build the confidence of even the most reluctant artists so well that I decided to create a second set. I printed them at Kinkos and then had them laminated and left them at the back of my room so that students could grab them any time they were done with their work. Perfect to leave for a substitute to teach.
These task cards are created for older students grades 6-12. I've set them up in 4 different categories: Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media and Art Journaling. Each card includes an example of a finished piece and step-by-step instructions. Materials are listed by category on separate cards. You could set up stations with materials out and ready to go.
Each category includes 8 different cards, with a total of 32 cards, plus 4 materials cards.
Intended for students grade 6-12.
