Product Description
One of my favorite drawing lesson and projects!
Gather a "treasure box" of small, interesting shaped objects for students to select out of the box at random without looking (like a grab bag). The students will divide a paper into sections and draw their small object from 9 different points of view. They will view and draw it from 9 interesting angles. Each small drawing should utilize the positive space of the object but also consider the negative space around it. Then using a variety of media from graphite to colored pencils to watercolors the students can add shading and values to each drawing to add color and depth.
The overall projects always turn out great! Even my less confident drawing students have success.
