An art room can be a fun place, but students need to know boundaries. This fun behavior management plan can be used in a variety of different ways. First, there is are three signs that each have one letter: "A" "R" "T." You should print the warning 1, 2, and 3 on the back of each letter. Then, when students are not behaving (with what rules you have already established), the letter "A" is turned over revealing a warning. If the behavior of the class is not corrected, the letter "R" is flipped over showing the warning 2 and so on (for the T, I take art away for a period). However, with excellent behavior, the letters can be returned! At the end of the class period, ART should be spelled out with NO warnings! In addition to this sign is my Mona Lisa sign. This is a great way to get your students to stop and pay attention to you!! I say "Mona," you say "Lisa" and sit like a perfect Mona Lisa painting (explanation on poster). And finally, there is a printable consequence sheet for individual students.
