If you are looking for a fun activity during the first week of class, task parties are a great ice breaker! This is the first of two FREE sets of task party idea cards. Print them out, cut and put in a “hat”. Each student randomly chooses a task card and then replenishes the card, by adding their own original task to the “hat”. Then, they go to work on the task. Once finished, they pick another task card and start again.
This Resource Includes: 24 Task Idea Cards, A list of suggested basic Task Party materials and a blank page of 4 cards which can be photocopied to use as template cards when students add their original task ideas.
If you would like a copy that contains an editable page that you can type into using a free version of Adobe Reader, please email me: email@example.com
and I will send you one. You can also download Task Cards Set 2 (also free), which contains a computer editable page
*Task parties have become popular and are performed in a variety of different venues. Art Bliss is in no way claiming credit for the original Task Party idea.
