This file serves as a primary resource for Art and Technology Education Instructors as well as administrators. The file is intended to scope & sequence a detailed successful approach to integrate the two disciplines. As such, it is important to acknowledge and recognize opportunities for further integration and collaboration throughout other disciplines within the high school. Various instructors were assembled to review and propose learning opportunities associated with Environmental Design. Through investigation, it became apparent that the Art and Technology Education disciplines encompass the primary goals and objectives necessary for the program. Art and Technology Education instructors are best suited for this strand of curriculum.
For the other disciplines various other approaches are available. The three main disciplines for national testing, math, science, and language arts, provide us with three of the strongest opportunities for integrating ENVD with other programs in the school. The positive attitudes towards these disciplines provide an opportunity for improved attitudes towards their own curriculum.
