Lesson Lady presents Benin Leopard Mask Lesson! Your students will be excited and interested as they learn about the Benin people of Nigeria while creating a leopard mask.

The Benin people of Nigeria are well known for sculptures of leopards to represent strength and power. This lesson will help introduce your students to this exciting African culture.
The lesson lasts about one hour but suggestions for breaking the lesson into two 30 minute periods is included. This lesson uses materials easily available in your classroom such as construction paper and glue so you will be able to teach this with ease.
