These beautiful Google slides include lessons, activities, and assessment for students to complete in a variety of settings. Students will learn about the features that distinguish arthropods from other phyla including: segmented bodies, jointed legs, appendages, compound eyes, and an exoskeleton. Students will learn about the 5 major classes of arthropoda and match pictures with their descriptions. Students will compare different arthropods to each other using a graphic organizer, observe animals molting, work with a small group to "debunk" myths about bugs, conduct an in-depth investigation of an insect, watch videos comparing terrestrial and marine arthropods, take Cornell notes, and complete a quiz! Lesson plans and answer keys are included for the slides, Google form quiz, and Cornell notes. Everything is editable so you can customize these resources to your preferences.
