Artic Dice Game is a fun and fast way to get your students to practice their articulation skills!
Artic Dice Game - /k, g/, which targets initial, medial, and final /k, g/, includes a text-only game board and text-with-pictures game board to accommodate different ages and reading levels. You can use it to target words, phrases, or sentences.
After you print Artic Dice Game, all you need is a die and tokens or markers to mark the spaces.
Each turn, a player rolls the die twice. The first roll indicates what column and the second roll indicates what row. The player then practices his/her target word. Then, mark the word once it has been used (with a different colored marker or token for each player). Here is where you can mix it up...
* In the basic version, if another player rolls a combination for a word that has already been used, that player loses that turn. Keep playing until all words have been marked off.
* In the competition version, if another player rolls a combination for a word that has already been used, that player can “steal” the space by marking it as their own. There is no limit to the number of times a space can be stolen. Keep playing until all words have been marked off (or more likely, when you run out of time!).
...Either way, whoever has the most target words marked off at the end is the winner!
