This is a new way to practice articulation skills for your students who are readers and are practicing later developing sounds.
Set Up: Student cut the strips of paper, practice their words, and then glue or tape each into a ring. Link the rings together to form a chain. Students may take the chain home for additional practice or you can hang them up in your room. If you choose to hang them in your room, use the name cards on pg. 4. Cut out the slit on the bottom of the card and feed the first ring through. Attach other rings to the first one.
Some words are repeated on different strips. There are 36 strips for each sound (12 for each position), except for /r/ and blends. There are also blank strips (pg. 5) so you can customize.
This packet includes the following sounds: SH, CH, TH (voiced and voiceless are combined), L, S, Z, R (12 for IP R, OR, AIR, AR, ER, EAR, IRE), S-BLENDS, L-BLENDS, and R-BLENDS (18 mixed strips for each type of blend).
