What educators are saying

Absolutely love this! I plan on breaking it up into weekly sessions, but so far, after one week, it's been great. Students are totally engaged.
I can not express enough how much my students loved this! We have only done the lit circle nonfiction seminars once however I can not wait to get back into it after the break.

Description

This is the perfect no-prep reading comprehension activity to start in your classroom for either digital learning, distance learning, or in-person instruction. Conduct mini-seminars in your class by creating small groups and assigning students articles and roles each week. The group members will prepare their role and present to their groups, which is perfect for developing deeper-level thinking and inferencing strategies for upper-elementary or middle school students.

Think literature circles, but elevated. Once you set this up in your classroom, it will continue to run itself. You just need to give them the articles each week!

Please note: the articles are NOT included but I have included websites & article suggestions!

*Google Drive and Microsoft compatibility
