Studying articles A and AN? This is a great little partner game to either use as a literacy center while doing a unit on adjectives/articles, or pull this game out for a great review. I love doing review game days in my room. It makes for a fun Friday activity.
In this game, students will draw a card and determine if an 'a' or 'an' will come before the word. If they get it correct (answer key included), they will place a cube on the game board covering the a or an to match their answer. The first person with 4 in a row wins the game. The time it takes to play this game will be determined by the cards the kids pull. There are two word for every letter of the alphabet.
This game can fit perfectly into a file folder. Staple the cover sheet to the front, the game board to the inside, laminate the cards and answer sheet and place them inside a baggie to place inside the folder, too.
