Articles of Confederation Cause and Effect Task Cards
This interactive lesson focuses on the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation. The task cards are organized by cause and effect, giving students an opportunity to build foundational literacy skills and knowledge of American history.
Everything is ready to print and includes:
Cause & Effect Task Cards: Nine weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation are covered using the task cards (18 cards total). Students work cooperatively to find each governmental weakness and match it with its corresponding effect. The cause and effect cards are color-coded and further differentiated by font. The cards are arranged to copy in sets of six, and laminating the cards or copying on card stock is recommended. A black and white set is also included if copying on colored paper is a better option.
Thirty Six Pages
Answer Key: The answer key is set-up as a quick reference for teachers when assessing student work during the lesson.
TpT Purchase Credit: Each time you provide feedback for a purchase, TpT will award you credits that lower the cost of future purchases. You can find the feedback button beside each purchase on your “My Purchases” page. Feedback can also be used to share successes in the classroom and creative ideas for using the resources purchased.
