• 13 pages of “Cheat Sheets” which are the object pictures they are to find in each of the puzzles.
The packet targets F-K-G-J-L-R-S-CH-SH-TH and the blends for S-R-L.
Each target sound has 2 pages, one for initial position and the second for the final position of the sound in the word.
The words to be found are listed on the left side of each page. There are 12 hidden picture words in each picture.
There are numerous ways to use these pages. You can use them as you wish to fit your students' individual needs. Certainly, you will want the student to find the picture by pointing or circling. Then you may wish to require them to say the word a certain number of times, create a phrase with it or perhaps create a sentence using it.
This is great for transitioning to more conversational skills? Or if they need to work on location words, why not have them tell you where it was hiding? There are so many ways to use these.
If you wish to conserve color ink, then simply print one copy and put in a page protector for the students to mark with a wet erase marker.
These pages can also be printed in black and white. Just set your printer to print in grayscale.
