Young children love looking at colorful pages and finding things you name. This articulation search and find activity will have them searching for things that begin or end with the early developing sounds of T-D-N, P-B-M, H-W-Y.
Just print and laminate (or put in page protectors) to use as wipe off boards or pages.
You read the questions and show them the picture, then they are to find that picture in the scene. They point to the picture and say the word. If they are drilling at the word level, you may wish to have them say it a few times. You can also have them practice at the structured sentence level by using the structured sentences of “I found the ____.” Or “I see the ____.” Or “Here is the ____.”
If you have these pages in sheet protectors, they can mark them with a dry erase marker. This is good practice in holding a writing tool, drawing circles or straight lines.
