Are you ready for the most low prep activity, probably ever? THIS IS IT!
Print slide #5 on colored paper and cut into four squares. Record what sound, in what position, and in what level the student will be producing it in on both their slip and yours. Pass the data slip with the “name” line to the student and keep the “SLP” line one for yourself.
Place a divider between yourself and the student so that they cannot see your recording slip. Have the student begin productions and highlight the number in which they believe their production was not correct. At the same time record on your slip the incorrect productions. After all productions are completed reveal your slips to each other.
This has been really beneficial in my speech room for students to see their errors and help train their ear and promote carryover.
Plus, they LOVE it when we do challenges!
