I have been wanting to buy a certain set of commercial articulation cards for a while now, but just can't justify the price! In the end I decided to make my own - here is the /k/, /g/ edition! All cards feature SymbolStix symbol representations (used with permission). Symbols are excellent for early readers and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Words were carefully chosen to ensure a balance of high-frequency words, sight words, and 1- and 2- syllable words.
*48 /k/ phoneme cards: 16 initial, 16 medial, 16 final
*48 /g/ phoneme cards: 16 initial, 16 medial, 16 final
Suggestions for use:
*Print 1 set of cards to use for drill, or in combination with your therapy activities.
*Print 2 sets of cards to use in games such as Go Fish and Memory.
These cards were designed to be printed on a double-sided color printer; however, if you do not have access to a double-sided printer you can easily feed pages through the printer twice to have the front/back card effect.
