A quick and easy assessment that can be used by both teachers and speech language pathologists as a first step in determining articulation intervention. It was created to easily and quickly identify some of the most common sound errors. All sounds assessed occur in the initial (or beginning) position of words.
It is often helpful for me, as a speech language pathologist, to have an idea of a student’s sound errors before an official screening.
***Please note***All results should be given to the speech language pathologist after assessment. This quick assessment in no way replaces the expertise of a speech language pathologist and the SLP should always be consulted to determine intervention needs.
Have fun communicating!
