/g/ and /k/ Articulation Sight Word Pack
No color ink, no prep Articulation Sight Words Pack
Several of my kindergarten and first grade students are working on their /g/ and /k/ sounds. They are also learning to read their sight words. I find it beneficial to target words they come across in their curriculum and use in conversation. Most of these words are from Fry’s Top 1000 Sight Words.
This product contains 60 worksheets
-10 initial /g/
-10 medial /g/
-10 final /g/
-10 initial /k/
-10 medial /k/
-10 final /k/
Print out one page for each student. Have the student say his/her targeted word. After he/she says the word, your student can fill in the circle using stickers, dot markers, or crayons. My older students like putting check marks or crossing out the circles. If your student is working at the phrase or sentence level, have him/her use the word in a phrase or sentence before filling in the circle.
Use these worksheets in therapy or send them home with your students for carry-over. You can also use this activity to monitor your student’s ability to use his/her sound in a phrase or sentence.
