Description

Here is THE go-to must have for every SLP doing articulation therapy! This resource was created to save you time looking for stimuli and to make articulation therapy a breeze. It includes all word, phrase and sentence targets you need to address /m/, /n/, and /h/ in speech therapy! PREVIEW COMING SOON!

► I've been doing speech therapy with these lists for 26 years. Just grab them and go OR you can open the pdfs on any device to screen share with student or to refer to them during articulation drill.

What's in this download?

► 6 pages of /r/ targets from 1 syllable to 5 syllables

► 2 pages of /r/ blend targets from 1 syllable to 5 syllables

► 2 pages of "vocalic r" targets from 1 syllable to 5 syllables

► 4 pages of "vocalic r" variation targets (or, ear, ire, ar, air) from 1 syllable to 3 syllables

► A 1 page explanation of coarticulation

★ The sounds /r/ and vocalic r (/ɝ/ along with variations) as well as /r/ blends embedded in 1, 2, 3 and often up to 4-5 syllable environments in all positions. Although coarticulation applies less to /r/ than other consonants (due to its sometimes vowel nature), coarticulation environments are included where applicable.

This product can be used with any style of articulation therapy by disregarding the coarticulation environments and simply using the stimuli as initial position, final position, medial position, but it is specifically designed to use with a coarticulation approach to articulation therapy. ⭐ To read more about why "breaking down" the medial position further makes therapy more efficient and diagnostic/prescriptive, check out my blog post all about it.

SLPs, use this resource to facilitate articulation practice throughout the course of therapy as the student progresses from producing his/her target sounds in various contexts/positions of 1 syllable, 2-3 syllables, 4-5 syllables and so on. I hope this comes in handy for you in your practice for years to come!

⭐ Lists can also be sent home as homework!

SLPs, use this resource to facilitate articulation practice throughout the course of therapy as the student progresses from producing his/her target sounds in various contexts of 1 syllable, then 2-3 syllables, 4-5 syllables and so on.

Save when you bundle!

These lists for /r/, vocalic r and /r/ blends are also part of a money-saving bundle, which includes lists for every phoneme, that when compiled, becomes a sound list "binder" that I've used in my practice for 26 years. If you'd rather purchase ALL phoneme lists, have a go-to, handy binder like mine, click here.
