Articulation Thumbprints BUNDLE 2 : A Speech Therapy Art Activity
Make Articulation Art
Students will love this articulation art activity! This money saving bundle is like buying 6 packs and getting 2 free!
No Prep and Ink Friendly
(you can also use fingerprints)

These activities were designed to be simple, no-prep craft activities to target articulation in an engaging way. These pages are no-prep (print & go). Each pack includes the following sounds: initial/final: p, b, m; final: n, t, d; initial/medial/final: k, g, f, v, l, s, z, ch, j, th, sh; pre-vocalic r; vocalic r (er, ar, or, air, ear, ire); rblends; lblends; sblends (separate mats for sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed). First practice, then make thumbprint art!

Included themes: basketball, football, ladybugs, Easter eggs, rain drops, pot of gold (rainbows), fish, and giraffes.

Materials Needed: Ink pad or paint, thumbprint pages, & a black marker (for ladybugs). I also keep wet wipes handy for when students want to change colors (and for clean up). You could also use bingo dotters to paint the students' thumbs for this activity.

Optional Assembly: You could also place them in a sheet protector or laminate to use with play dough.

To use: The student will practice the target word and then make a thumbprint over each target word to create an object (leaf, frog, spider, bee, light, or balloon). The student will place their thumb on an ink pad and then stamp it over the target word on the oval. The therapist will determine the number or trials per bee.

Variations:
Use play dough to make the objects over the word.
Use bingo chips to place over the words
Use bingo dotters
