The winter months following the holidays are always the hardest for my students…and me. There’s less outdoor time and fewer breaks. Time for a new theme! These articulation worksheets give kiddos a chance to practice their sounds and stop and think about what it is they’re practicing because not every fish is a keeper!
Discuss what sound you’re working on, then have them say the pictured word in each fish. If it contains the target sound, draw a line to the fishing pole. If the picture doesn’t contain your sound, draw an “X” through the fish.
Worksheets print black and white.
Non-target words usually contain a closely related phoneme/common substitution to make students really stop, feel and think.
Picture targets for kiddos, but labels are also listed on each page for the adult.
Check the box for “color and say at home” for an easy homework activity.
