Albrecht Durer is one of the most prolific and exciting artists of the Northern Renaissance. Durer is an influence on many, especially during the Renaissance. Durer is an inspiration for artists! Why not use Durer in your class?
In this resource, students will examine Durer and the Renaissance, and complete a journal activity that demonstrates an understanding of his work. This handout give a brief synopsis of Durer's work and an activity related to this. I use this as a sketchbook prompt for a weekly sketchbook assignment.
