Artists of Canada Inspired Art Projects

This set of ELEVEN art projects incorporates painting, sculpture, drawing and design to create projects that bring the work of Canadian artists to life through the eyes of children while exploring painting, drawing, sculpting, weaving and incorporating new mediums.

This inspiring product includes:

• eleven different art projects (each one can usually be completed within a few hours from start to the end of clean-up).
• complete lesson plans with step-by-step instructions with modifications to differentiate for your students (or your available supplies).
• photographs of student examples.
• reflection pages for students in English and French.
• instructions to minimize prep work and clean up.
• art projects designed for the "not-an-art-teacher" generalist.

The artists chosen are from all over Canada. They are from a variety of ethnic backgrounds including Indigenous People, Chinese, Spanish, Filipino and Japanese which adds to the variety of mediums and styles.
