Young students will learn about working in the marketplace as vendors selling their own handmade products at an Arts & Crafts Fair. The vendors belong to a children’s business venture called, “By Our Hands.”
The children will engage in basic business practices through various activities. The product they choose to create should reflect their interest or a desire to explore a possible new passion. In the Vendor Board Game, the students will use play money to learn how to count change. The Arts & Crafts Fair lessons serve as a prelude to an in-depth study of entrepreneurship in later grades.
