As Cores (Color Flip Booklets in Portuguese)

In Portuguese! Your students will create easy-to-read "flip booklets" that will allow them to identify all of the colors in Portuguese! Each mini-booklet is on a single piece of paper for ease of use! The students color in the delightful pictures, cut them out and place them together to create a booklet in which the pictured item in the sentence is "flipped" up to create a new sentence each time.

For example, for the "vermelha" booklet the students read "A formiga e vermelha." They flip up the picture of the ant to reveal a picture of a cow. They then read "A vaca e vermelha." This continues with joaninha, lagosta and maca to give them five everyday objects that are the same color. (NOTE: accents, etc. are not supported in this description, but are correct in the download!)

There are booklets for the following colors: vermelho, laranja, amarelo, verde, azul, roxo, marrom, preto, branco, cinza and rosa.

An additional flip book is also included which features a review of the colors in the order of the rainbow and also serves as a counting book.

Each page is available as a black & white student reproducible as well as a full color teacher example! That means no more summers spent coloring in samples for your class! Simply click the mouse to print out a full color copy of the flip book of your choice. Then, print out the same booklet in black and white for the students to create!
