MOFS is my acronym for Mark Out: Fly Swatter. This is a common review that can be played multiple ways depending on your classroom and how you want the game to go!

Mark Out: Print out this PDF and put students in partner (1 group of 3 works for odd number). The paper must remain in one stationary location on a desk or hard surface. Each student gets a different color colored pencil. The teacher calls out the English meaning or a cue/gesture (TPR) for the students to find. The first student to correctly "mark out" the vocab word gets the point. If a student marks out the incorrect word, the point is awarded to other student and the word is circled to remind students it's still on the board. The student with the most points at the end of the round wins!

Fly swatter: Same concept except PDF is projected onto board/wall. Rotations of 2 or 3 students from respective teams come to the board with flyswatter and swat the word you say. First student to correctly swat the word gets the point for their team. Incorrectly swatted disqualify them for that round. Downside of this version is that only the students at the front of the board are able to participate.
