Description

The Asian Empires Complete Unit will introduce your students to the major Asian Empires as they investigate how each originated, developed and grew, expanded, made cultural changes, and made contributions to the rest of the world.

Address and practice skills while teaching the core content on the Asian Empires.

This is a complete 2+ week unit (added activities can extend this unit beyond the 10 day instructional period) for the study of the new Asian Empires.

Unit Covers the Following Empires:

3 Muslim empires - Ottoman, Safavid (Persian), and Mughal (Mogul)
Eastern Asian empires of the Ming and Qing DynastiesShogunate Japanese

Includes interactive lessons for student engagement, as well as traditional instruction tools such as a comprehensive Walking Tour, a powerpoint with complete lecture notes, a mapping activity, an online reading activity with complete reading guide, and a Facebook People of the Asian Empires activity.

Most of the activities can be interactive and done in groups or pairs. One activity is aligned with reading from the internet, but could be modified for textbook use.

A unit test is included, as is a study organization activity and a research project for unit assessment. Answer key is provided for unit test, but individual activity answers may vary, so no key is provided.

Individual items are also available if you do not need the entire unit!
