Ready to roll (no prep) tasks and game ideas such as stump the students for Magic Tree House #51: High Time for Heroes where your students connect to Jack and Annie back in Egypt seeking secrets of greatness for Merlin. They’ll meet and connect to Florence Nightingale, on her trip to Egypt that served as the inspiration for heroic choices that made her famous and beloved.

Students will also connect to Core Curriculum Standards included within this blend of magic, adventure, history, science, danger, and heroism range from kid pleasers to growth opportunities in your class.

To accompany this unit - your students will also enjoy the true story of Florence Nightingale read aloud at URLs provided. They will find an additional ten heroes to observe, connect to and actively engage in video links in these materials.
