Description

Do you have students who struggle to ask for help when they need it? This story will help children who have a difficult time asking teachers for help. The story discusses when one may need to ask for help and how to do it.

Social Skills Stories target a specific social skill and are a great way to teach children who have social learning challenges. These important skills are broken down into small, manageable chunks so that children can better learn and practice an identified, social concept, such as; asking for help.

Social Skills Stories & Activities use explicit language that helps children understand what they should or should not do in a given situation.

After reading/listening to the story, the students will write in their ideas about when they may need help, strategies they can use, and who may be able to help them, further reinforcing the skills learned.

As with all of my products, I am more than happy to modify this story for you. Perhaps you would like a child's name in the story, or a photo, the name of the child's school, or teacher? Just contact me in the Q and A section and let me know what you would like!
