This Gib's Garden social story focuses on the difference between asking for help versus asking for the answer. I created this for students who would politely ask for help on their schoolwork with the intention of receiving a word-for-word answer. The social story clearly explains what asking for help means, when you can ask for help, when you can ask for the answer, and what to do/say if you don't like the teacher's response.
This is a Word document and can be edited to fit your students' needs.
