Product Description
This is a sort that would be great in a literacy center for first or second graders. Students have to cut out the boxes and decide whether or not the sentence is asking or telling something. They will glue the sentence under the appropriate side of their paper. A title for each side is included and the student will cut that out as well. An example of a sentence is "Does that pencil belong to you" and another one is "We live in the state of Georgia" Periods and question marks are not used so the student truly has to show understanding of the differences between asking and telling sentences. I love using sorts like this!
