Use this graphic organizer to help you analyze student performance on any quiz, test, project, or assignment. I begin by grading every assignment, then calculating the measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode, etc.). Then, I write each student's name and percentage in the appropriate column. This helps me see if the students' scores form a bell curve around the B-C range, or if they're skewed left or right. Below the table, I write down the name of each student who earned a D or F, and my action plan for them. This helps me build documentation throughout the year so that I can show administrators and parents that I have been tracking students carefully all year.
