This is it! Everything you will need to run your own classroom sight word program! Word cards, word mats, weekly assessments, progress monitoring assessment sheet, and word work practice games!
I needed a system to use in order to individualize sight word practice for my students. I know that I won’t follow through with anything that is too overwhelming, so this is not! This system allows students to work on the words that they need to, while reviewing all words throughout the year!
What is included:
Master Assessment Sheet – use to track progress throughout the year
Weekly Assessment Sheet / Parent letter – use weekly to monitor growth and communicate with parents
Word Wall Cards – I copy these on coordinating colored cardstock so my students have a consistent reference
Word Wall Cards to cut and add to Sight Word rings
Sight Word Mats (I’ve included 3 sizes) Print according to color.
I print large mats to use when assessing students.
I print and laminate the half size cards and keep multiple copies handy.
I give one to students to keep in their book boxes while they are practicing!
The ¼ size card is for students to keep on a word ring, in a pencil box or to take home!
I need this to be easy to manage so I color code each list. I use Rainbow Order to make it easy.
I use these assessment sheets to track student sight word fluency!
I've also included 40 game boards for weekly sight word practice!
