Comprehensive assessments for upper elementary students in need of diagnosis and intervention. These assessments are based on second grade Common Core Standards. Part I is 20 questions on two pages that can be given separately. Part I includes: counting to 1,000, skip counting by 5’s 10’s and 100s to 1,000, reading numbers to 1,000, drawing numbers to 1,000 using base 10 illustrations, and writing numbers to 1,000 in numerals, word form and expanded form.
Part II is 22 questions on two pages that can (should) be given separately and includes
<, =, > for three digit numbers, mentally adding/subtracting 10 or 100 from a 3-digit number, add or subtract three-digit numbers, and solving one and two step story problems. These assessments are not for lower elementary. They are end of year goals for second grade and will show you the holes in your students' learning for upper grade students and even middle school students or special education. Data trackers are included for easy grouping based on skill. They can be used by general education teachers, interventionists, and special education teachers.
