If you are overwhelmed or intimidated by teaching Astronomy or Space Science you are in luck! This bundle of resources includes everything you could ever ask for: lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, student notes, practice questions, formative assessment pieces, and creative activities. BONUS: Almost all files are completely editable! I’m sharing my nerdy passion for Astronomy with you, in hopes that your students will love it too!

Please examine the images and preview above to see how this resource can help you and your students.

In the zipped file, you will receive:

★ Lesson plans and tips; each lesson plan is approximately 2 pages (PDF file and editable Microsoft Word file).

★ editable PowerPoint presentations for every topic listed with hyperlinked YouTube videos.

★ Student notes (Microsoft Word and PDF files) that coordinate with each of the PowerPoint presentations in a fill-in-the-blank style. Most student notes are 2-6 pages long.

★ Teacher notes, with the blanks already filled in, are included. You may choose to use these for absent students, or students with special learning needs.

★ Homework questions for each lesson. These are typically 2 pages with 5-8 questions and room to write responses.

★ Over 100 pages Quick Check formative assessments for bell work and retrieval practice with additional ideas for retrieval practice you can implement in your classroom.

★ Creative learning activities: turn your classroom into a celestial dome to explain constellations; create aurora and galaxy art pieces; research and write a news report about an astronomical discovery; analyze a kids’ planet video to determine its accuracy; etc.

ALMOST ALL RESOURCES ARE EDITABLE (except for those that require me to lock clip art in a PDF file for copyright reasons).

These lessons can further be supported by the Astronomy Doodle Notes Bundle. The Doodle Note bundle is not included in this purchase, but if you are interested in both this resource and the Doodle Note bundle, you would get the best deal by purchasing the Astronomy Growing Bundle.

You can see the other resources in the Astronomy all-in-one Lesson Bundle by clicking the links below.

Note: As I am actively teaching Astronomy at the Grade 9 level and Earth and Space Science at the Grade 12 level, I made add more all-in-one lessons in the future. This bundle will grow as I add those!
