The "Astronomy Research Presentation Project" is a great way to incorporate new and interesting topics into any science course and to facilitate interdisciplinary skills such as: internet searches, reliable/academic research, public speaking, organization, etc. This project consists of students individually learning about current astronomy research and then giving a PowerPoint presentation to the class.
