These activities were created for a teacher who was looking for fun,
age-appropriate activities to accompany her newsletter.
She wanted something that was only one page so it could be copied onto the back of her one-page weekly newsletter. This is what I came up with for her and so far it's been well-received.
This is the second and includes 12 activities that encourage children to count, talk, write, draw, color, name, inspect, give, and story-tell. The themes and topics range from family to fingerprints to fruits to fall (autumn). There will be more posted at a later date.
My organizational advice...print them all and keep them in a binder (inside those clear sheet protectors). Stick a post-it onto the front of the protector to write the date it was used. This will not only help you in deciding what activity to use next but well also assist in reprinting for a caregiver.
P.S. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any comments, suggestions for future activities, or notice any edits that need to be made!
