With the use of a menu (see information below) students are asked to pretend that they are at the restaurant.
They must incorporate their knowledge of time and an analog clock. Students must also demonstrate their knowledge of coins.
To follow up and ensure that the students are understanding these concepts, an added dimension of writing is added to this unit. They must use their creativity and pretend to be at a restaurant with the information they gave on the previous page.
This lesson is very flexible in the sense that you can ask students to research and find the menu of their favorite menu to bring in, or perhaps you want to print out menus from local restaurants.
You may even decide that you want the STUDENTS to CREATE a menu with a variety of products and prices.
