Product Description
Students will draw squares onto the sides of right triangles to prove the Pytagorean Theorem. The right triangles are drawn on dot paper so that students can use their own strategies for finding the area of each square. After completing the exercise, students will examine the areas of the squares and discover the connection between the squares attached to the legs and the square attached to the hypotenuse.
