Product Description
Here are 6 fun and engaging FRENCH Math Centers for grades 1/2. I use these during Guided Math as part of a math rotation bloc. You may use it as that or for early finishers. They are meant to be used once children have been taught the specific expectations. So, if you are using it in grade 1, you may want to use them later in the year. As for grade two, they make a great review while you are busy assessing groups of students at the beginning of the year. Let me know what you think as I will probably be making more of these as the year goes on. Thanks for your purchase and I look forward to your feedback!

Here are the expectations being met with these stations:

GRADE 1: ONTARIO CURRICULUM EXPECTATIONS
ATELIER # 1
-identify and describe common two-dimensional shapes (e.g.,circles,triangles, rectangles,squares)
ATELIER #2
- demonstrate an understanding of the use of non-standard units of the same size for measuring
- estimate,measure (i.e.,by placing nonstandard units repeatedly,without overlaps or gaps),and record lengths,heights,and distances
ATELIER #3
- represent,compare,and order whole numbers to 50,using a variety of tools
ATELIER #4
- represent,compare,and order whole numbers to 50,using a variety of tools
ATELIER #5
- identify and describe various coins (i.e., penny, nickel, dime,quarter,$1 coin,$2 coin),using coin manipulatives or drawings, and state their value
- represent money amounts to 20¢, through investigation using coin manipulatives;
-count forward by 1’s,2’s,5’s,and 10’s to 100,using a variety of tools and strategies

GRADE 2: ONTARIO CURRICULUM EXPECTATIONS
ATELIER # 1
-distinguish between the attributes of an object that are geometric properties and the attributes that are not geometric properties
ATELIER #2
- estimate and measure length, height, and distance, using standard units and non-standard units
- estimate and measure length, height, and distance, using standard units and non-standard units
- record and represent measurements of length, height, and distance in a variety of ways
ATELIER #3
- represent, compare,and order whole numbers to 100,using a variety of tools
ATELIER #4
- represent,compare,and order whole numbers to 100,using a variety of tools
ATELIER #5
- add and subtract money amounts to 100¢, using a variety of tools and strategies
- count forward by 1’s,2’s,5’s,10’s,and 25’s to 200,using number lines and hundreds charts
