This mini-lesson focuses on the children of Athens and Sparta. This lesson can be split into two days, if desired. Completing a Venn diagram to compare and contrast the two cultures would also be a nice compliment to this lesson.
This PDF contains:
• Two printable, informational PDF pages about both Athenian and Spartan boys and girls. There is one printable page on Athenian Children, and a printable page on Spartan Children.
• Questions on the informative text.
• A simple map, showing Sparta and Athens in relation to each other.
This lesson compliments units on Sparta, Athens, ancient Greece, ancient history and world history. I hope you enjoy!
