This is meant to be used prior to teaching about America's use of the Atomic bomb in World War II. Five signs are provided in the last four slides which represent a range of attitudes from strongly agree to strongly disagree. These are to be printed and posted around the room. As the teacher projects each statement students stand by the sign that represents their attitude about each of the five statements in the presentation. The teacher should then call on students to defend their answers. Teacher could follow up with a presentation on various arguments for and against America's use of the powerful weapon.
