These sorting cards are a great warm-up or review after students have been introduced to Atomic Theory, scientists, and their contributions. This resource was created for use in an 8th grade physical science class, but could also be used in a chemistry class. The first time you use these, students should have access to notes. I use this Flip Book. After sorting the cards with the flip book once or twice (I like to leave it out as a warm up/ bell ringer), take the flip book away. My students love this type of review because they don't have to write anything down. I love it because it's a great formative assessment. My students starting asking to sign these out from my class to use to study from. Others took pictures with their cell phones of the sorted cards.

Print and laminate for years of use!
