    Atoms PowerPoint, Notes & Exam

    All items in this product are 100% EDITABLE and DIFFERENTIATED. The product includes a PowerPoint Presentation (101 differentiated slides), scaffolded notes (differentiated and modified/completed notes included) and a summative examination (differentiated and answer key included). The PowerPoint is differentiated for upper elementary and middle school students. A color-shape code is found on the upper left corner of every slide to help you differentiate concepts for your students' needs and abilities. Copies of the presentation and notes saved as Google slides and docs are included. A digital self-grading summative exam as a Google Form is included.

    Atoms Google Classroom Lesson Bundle

    Google Classroom lessons include modified files optimized for use with Google Suite Apps. These files are designed to be shared or assigned to students using Google Classroom. The PowerPoints and Notes are reformatted to work with Google Slides and Docs. Bell ringers, quizzes, homework and reading passages are reformatted so that students complete the activities directly in Google Slides or Forms, permitting paper-free and electronic distribution and collection of assignments. To upload the files from this download to your Google Drive, you must use the Google Drive Backup and Sync App. You CANNOT directly upload the folders of lessons to your Google Drive within a web browser.     Develop models to describe the atomic composition of simple molecules and extended structures. Emphasis is on developing models of molecules that vary in complexity. Examples of simple molecules could include ammonia and methanol. Examples of extended structures could include sodium chloride or diamonds. Examples of molecular-level models could include drawings, 3D ball and stick structures, or computer representations showing different molecules with different types of atoms. Assessment does not include valence electrons and bonding energy, discussing the ionic nature of subunits of complex structures, or a complete depiction of all individual atoms in a complex molecule or extended structure.
