Help your students build automaticity by attacking the five structures of words that end in consonant-l-e syllables. In this activity, you will learn about these five different structures and help your students use syllabication to attack, code, label, and categorize words by structure.
This activity will support understanding of word structure that can be built upon in a future lesson on spelling words with consonant-L-e endings.
I have used this material in one-on-one, small-group, and full-class activities. This approach helps my students grasp the structure of these words.
I hope you enjoy!
