Attribute Card Game is a card game that can be used in speech therapy, in the classroom for a fun reinforcement activity or during centers. This is a card game used to help students improve their descriptive language skills by developing an understanding of attributes. Students pick cards and are asked to identify objects that can be described by the target attribute.
There is a total of 120 cards- 105 attribute cards and 15 consequence cards (smiley face- take an extra card, sad face- put a card back). Included is a page of card backs that can be printed on the other side of the attribute cards. I often use this as a quick language game at the end of a therapy session. The students love counting the cards at the end of the game to see who won. I use the included chart to keep track of attributes that were introduced and those that need to be reviewed again. I hope that you enjoy using this game to help your students improve their ability to describe objects using attributes.
