Go Fish-BINGO with attributes combines two games in one! Included are 24 vocabulary card pairs with pictures and 3 BINGO cards. There are no repeated attributes on the BINGO cards. For 1-3 players, kindegarten and up. Students can be non-readers but will need assistance from an adult to read the attributes.
Attributes used vary from colors to size, function, and quality. Vocabulary words are relatively common and should be recognizable to the majority of students.
-Give each player a BINGO board
-Deal each player 3-5 cards, depending on group size and age
-Play Go Fish: players find matches by asking for cards by vocabulary
name or by providing a description, function etc. This can be easily
adapted for skill level.
-When a player gets a pair, they decide which attribute on
their BINGO board best matches their cards. Encourage your
students to be creative! (Ex. a pillow is soft, but can also be
lumpy; a scarf is cozy but can also be striped)
**In some instances after a few attributes have been covered, there truly isn’t a good fit. When this happens I let my students grab an extra card.
