This is a simple yet effective visually-appealing worksheet that will allow your students practice using food vocabulary and the partitif and indefinite articles (du, de la, de l', des, un, une) in French.
There are 8 store carts with 8 different sets of food in them. The first cart serves as a model for students to follow. Using the model, students have to write what food they buy using the visual clues of the cart. Also, this activity invites students to make intentional article choices.
For example: "Je vais au supermarché et j'achète du lait, du pain, une pizza, etc."
You can have your students do this activity at home or in class, on their own or in groups. Once they are done with writing, have them cover up the written portion of the worksheet and do the same task orally. You could also project the carts on the screen and have students name at least one item of food taking turns.
Also, you don't have your students do all 4 pages at once. You could have them do 2 pages at a time or one cart per day.
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
